Wow! You have been with the Society for 40 years! Can you give me a brief summary of your involvement with ISPE and share some of the more interesting experiences and successes you have had with the Society during your lengthy tenure?

When Dave became involved with the pharmaceutical industry in the early 1970’s, pharma engineers had limited resources for guidance when confronted with a problem. Dave joined ISPE in its first year to help the industry develop this type of support. We talked to Dave about his experiences during the past 40 years, and his thoughts about the changes that have been made during that time.

Ric Overton is one of ISPE’s Founding Members; he joined the organization when it was first established in 1980. We spoke with Ric to learn more about his experiences, memories, and the amazing 40 years he has spent as an ISPE Member.

As ISPE celebrates the 40th anniversary of its establishment, we would like to recognize those members that have been with ISPE throughout its journey. Let’s begin with James Agalloco, who joined ISPE in October 1980. We talked with James to learn about his many years with ISPE, his experiences and accomplishments, and his thoughts on ISPE as we move forward in the future.

You’ve been with ISPE for 18 years and currently serve as Chair of the ISPE France Affiliate. Can you share some of the highlights of your involvement with the Society during your tenure?

Deborah Geyman became interested in pharma while still in high school; today, after working in the industry for three decades, she is the incoming ISPE North America South America Affiliate Council (NASAAC) Chair! We asked Deborah to share some of her experiences during her sixteen years with ISPE and her career in the industry she identified as her chosen vocation so early in life.
