The presentation will be focused on USP listed methods for inspect pharmaceutical products in terms of integrity (CCIT) and visual inspection (VI), giving a wide overview of the pro & cons of each technology, and the impact that these methods have in production.
Details about the status of the art in terms of available technical solutions to satisfy all requirements will be mentioned.
Methods qualification will be explained to understand which application is more suitable for each product type.

After 2 years working at different Pharmaceutical Mechanical Design Offices, he joined Bonfiglioli Engineering as Mechanical Designer Pharma Specialist. Progressing as Pharmaceutical Application Team Leader, then Design Team Manager from 2010 till 2019 and his current role.
He is responsible for global sales & worldwide agencies technical support & training, giving assistance on customized projects or special applications.
Expert in international standards guidelines & regulations, he also represents Bonfiglioli Engineering at the main Pharmaceutical congresses (PDA, BFS IoA) as well as relevant pharma exhibitions.
