Pharma Manufacturing Facilities and Equipment: How Will We Meet the Needs?
It’s hard to believe we are more than halfway through 2021 and how 2020 is such a distance memory yet so ingrained into our minds it feels like it was yesterday. As COVID continues to be prevalent in society and with our continued focus on life saving medicines we as an industry must maintain our “Agility, Collaboration, Innovation”. The facility and engineering track would like to invite you to this year’s ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo.
Our track discussions will be around CAR-T and the future of cell and gene treatments, what we learned from Project Warp Speed and how we can leverage those lessons, how the Pharma industry and the environment must work together to meet the needs, steps to a successful Pharma facility and QRM/CQV best practices.
Facility design and operation has had to adapt to keep up with these needs. A more risked based approach has been deployed as well as much more strategic planning. As COVID shortages continue to affect the market planning and contingencies become vital. Our speakers will discuss some case studies and opportunities that arose during these trying times to allow facilities and design to meet the market demand.
We need you, our membership, to help challenge us in those discussions, ensure we remain agile to meet the customer needs, collaborate to share best practices and ideas, and innovative to make sure we have the next lifesaving treatment ready.
