The International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering’s (ISPE) Women in Pharma® group was established in 2017. Since its inception, it has grown to a community of more than 2,000 members who are actively engaged in educational, collaborative, and networking activities designed to bridge gender, cultural, organizational, and geographic boundaries, maximize the impact women have in the pharmaceutical industry, and help pave the way to a more equitable workforce.

In addition to the International Women in Pharma Committee, this global network thrives in ISPE Affiliates and Chapters around the world, each of which manages its own Women in Pharma initiatives for its local members by providing educational resources, mentoring activities, social and networking opportunities, and award programs aimed at helping local women in the industry gain substantial industry knowledge, participate in important conversations, serve as mentors to those entering the biopharma sector or enhancing their existing careers, and connect with like-minded people with similar goals and interests.
