Sarah Ebadi joined Roche/Genentech in March 2019 as a Regulatory Policy Expert in varied areas of priority for global regulatory science. Since January 2024, she is the Environmental Policy Manager of Roche Pharma. She is responsible for driving the Roche Pharma advocacy strategy in addressing relevant chemicals and environmental regulatory topics globally, including EU chemicals policy (i.e. PFAS) and legislation revision (e.g. REACH, One Substance One Assessment, Urban Waste Water Treatment Directives) ; as well as global circular economy and plastics policies (i.e. UN Plastics Treaty). Sarah leads the Roche Pharma environmental policy expert community to ensure an aligned policy position and strategy. Sarah is an active member of varied EFPIA Expert Groups, including the PFAS WG, the Licence to Operate WG and the Circular Economy WG, as well as BioPhorum, IFPMA and Beveridge & Diamond expert groups. Sarah is a Doctor of Pharmacy, graduated from the Nancy University of Pharmacy in France and holds a MSc in International Drug Development and Registration from the Paris-Saclay University.
