Sander Thijssen

Sander Thijssen is bioprocess expert with a MSc on Bioprocess Technology from the Wageningen University and Research Center in The Netherlands. Sander worked in different settings as Process Engineer as part of consulting firms and service providers on the design of bioprocess equipment and whole GMP facility layouts. As Engineering Lead in the MSD Biotech Oss TechOps department, he currently is head of a team of experts on equipment design and qualification, as well as cleaning and sanitization validation. Sander contributes to ISPE organization as member of the board of the Netherlands Affiliate.
