Nicola’s career began in 2003 with Pfizer in the UK, moving from Chemical R&D to Pilot Plant following her enthusiasm for scale-up and technology transfer.
In 2012, with the experience of many API campaigns under her belt, Nicola seized a new opportunity in flavour and fragrance. This fascinating industry provided further breath of process and operational knowledge – and quality control where you actually smell and taste the products!
In 2018 Nicola returned to Pharma at Sanofi (EUROAPI) in the UK, leading Development Sciences in a newly formed CDMO operation. During this time Nicola was recognised as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base. Finding great reward in delivering through strong client relationships prompted her to join BioPhorum in 2022 and taking on the Phorum Director role in 2025.
