Mirella Miettinen, PhD

Miettinen is an Academy Research Fellow in Environmental Law at the Law School and at the Centre for Climate Change, Energy and Environmental Law (CCEEL) at the University of Eastern Finland. She has doctoral degrees in Law and Environmental Science from the University of Eastern Finland and she also has a title of docent at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Helsinki. She is a principal investigator of the PharGTrans project, which examines the cross-cutting effects of EU chemicals policy and legislation in support of green transformation(s) on the practices of pharmaceutical actors and how different actors perceive the depth of green transformations needed.
