Mike started his career in life sciences in 2010 with Patheon (now Thermo Fisher Scientific), serving as a project engineer, mechanical systems leader, and NA Energy Management Leader working almost exclusively on the facilities/utilities side of critical infrastructure management with a focus on Scope 1 and 2 reductions. Most recently, Mike served as the Applications Engineering Leader for Trane Technologies Life Science Division, focusing on refrigerated and frozen process and storage applications. With the wide, yet focused, background within Life Sciences, Mike particularly enjoys developing prescriptive bespoke solutions to improve the performance, reliability, and sustainability of critical facilities. Mike holds a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from Michigan State University and a MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
