Michael Vrijis

Michael has 19 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He started his career at Prothya Biosolutions in Belgium, before working as a consultant for over 10 years on projects all over Europe. Michael has a broad knowledge in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, with an expertise in Cleaning processes and Cleaning Validation in a multiproduct environment. He joined Incyte Biosciences in 2021 and currently holds the role of Manager Manufacturing Technology at Incyte’s biologics manufacturing plant in Switzerland. He is responsible for Cleaning process development and validation, and is further involved in various projects across the site (tech transfer, continuous improvement, CAPEX). Michael also played a major role in the implementation of multiproduct manufacturing readiness at the site.
