Jürgen Wiedemann

Jürgen is the Head of Pharma Technology Systems at Bayer AG in Leverkusen. Jürgen´s career in the industry spans more than 25 years. Starting as a Research Chemist and Process Developer with multiple patents and commercial products he served as Plant Manager and Head of Production in the chemical and API production as well as the production of high potent Oral Solid Dose. Following that first chapter he led multiple major investment projects from the first idea to the first day of market supply and served in several management positions in Engineering and Operations. He has had the opportunity to learn about multiple cultures, especially in Europe, China, and the USA. Jürgen holds an PhD in Chemistry from the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen, a Diploma in Chemistry from the University of Cologne and was a Scientific co-worker of Prof. Dr. G. A. Olah at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
