Frederick Blumenthal

Frederick Blumenthal is a Manager in the Applied AI group at d-fine, where he leads the development of innovative AI-based solutions for complex problems. He has MSc degrees in physics from Heidelberg University and financial mathematics from the University of Oxford, where he specialized in machine learning and scientific computing. Adopting a hands-on approach, Frederick oversees projects from inception to completion. His primary focus is on automating business processes using information retrieval and natural language processing techniques, particularly large language models. Additionally, he specializes in utilizing machine learning methods to develop powerful, yet inherently interpretable, forecasting, credit scoring, and anomaly detection models
