Francesco Intoccia

Since January 1, 2020, Francesco has been serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Engineering Innovation at CSL, where he is spearheading a modernization program for CSL Behring's operations and supply chain. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Global Engineering function, a new addition resulting from CSL's transformation program. Prior to joining CSL, Francesco spent 17 years at Johnson & Johnson, holding various senior positions, including Vice President of Project Management at Engineering & Properties Services, General Manager of the J&J Vaccines site in Bern, Senior Director of Global Technical Operations for Fill & Finish, and Plant Senior Director at the Latina site. Earlier in his career, he worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb as Plant Senior Director at the Anagni and Sermoneta sites and as Director of Strategies and Technology Deployment for EMEA. Additionally, Francesco served as Site Technical Director at Serono (now Merck Life Sciences) in Bari, Italy, and began his career at Pfizer in the Quality Unit. Over the course of his career, Francesco has managed over 100 large-scale projects worldwide, including greenfield projects such as the Merck Life Sciences site in Bari, the J&J Innovative Medicines site in Xian, and the CSL sites in Lengnau and Tullamarine (Melbourne).
