Darragh Mcdonagh

Mr. McDonagh, a graduate of University of Wales Swansea, holds Masters degrees in engineering, science and business and has over 20 years experience working in various engineering and managerial roles in the small molecule, peptide and biopharmaceutical sectors. Mr. McDonagh’s current role is as Senior Director of Engineering at Eli Lilly Kinsale Ltd. In this role, Mr. McDonagh has supported a number of major capital plan investment projects and facility startups both on the Lilly Kinsale site, including the new IE2b peptide manufacturing facility and of recent a new green field next generation biotechnology site in Ireland. Innovative new technology, integration of advanced digital and control systems and sustainability have been central to the design and delivery of these new Lilly major capital investment.
