Paul and Angela originally from England now living in Scotland have been married for 5 years after meeting at a weight loss surgery support group.
They share their lived experiences as people living with Obesity and feel passionate about having their patients voice heard.
As Bariatric Patients for over ten years and more recently uses of injections, Paul and Angela advocate for access to all treatments that will assist people living with obesity to live a healthier, happier life.
“Our hope by highlighting the challenges and barriers a person living with obesity faces in accessing healthcare, and by sharing examples of weight stigma and bias received from society, family and friends.
We can assist people with no lived experience to see obesity through a different lens, so we can work together to change the narrative around obesity”
