Alessandro Rosengart

Alessandro Rosengart obtained a Ph.D. in chemical engineering and joined VTU in 2017. As a researcher he investigated the techno-economic feasibility of sustainable processes by means of Process Systems Engineering tools, such as optimization, simulation and predictive modelling. In Industry, he joined large capex projects in the sectors of pharmaceutical, biotechnological and chemical industry, covering the roles of process engineer, technologist and project manager. By merging these experiences, he contributed to define the formalization of the Green Value Engineering method in collaboration with the Polytechnic of Milan. Currently he is the responsible for the Green Engineering and Sustainability Expert Group of VTU Engineering.
