Women in Pharma® Panel Discussion: Diversity in the Workplace & Career Coaching

Join us at Workhorse Brewing Company to engage in an intellectually stimulating panel discussion on diversity in the workplace. We challenge you to join us for this uplifting evening and leave informed with a posture for creating an inclusive environment, accepting of every individual's differences while achieving your full potential in the workplace and beyond. 

While you listen to the panel discussion, enjoy craft seasonable beers, ciders, and beer slushies, complemented with generous servings of beer-inspired appetizers like Bavarian pretzels paired with Vienna Lager beer cheese & spicy Golden Lager mustard or a bold lamb/chicken gyro, laced with velvety tzatziki in a warm pita.

Lisè is a seasoned performance improvement and organizational development expert supporting various sized companies as well as individuals, addressing workforce improvement, leadership, management and change. Lisè is also a Master Facilitator and her background includes Multi-cultural Recruiting Practices, Corporate Inclusion Strategies, Diversity/Commonality Program development and managing training organizations.

She is a Career Transition Specialist & Coach, helping experienced professionals discover and establish new careers and supporting all phases of the transition process (discovery, investigation, exploration, collateral, interviewing, negotiating, etc.). Most recently, Ms. Schwartz has been training for clients in non-profit, financial, healthcare, engineering, pharmaceutical, government, telecommunications, public utility, and energy industries, as well as retail, and education. Her awarding winning program on managing your career in times of change was initially developed for a global utility company and has been institutionalized there, and has been presented at conferences, conventions and in training for career counselors.

Peggy Del Fabbro assumed the role of CEO of M. Davis & Sons in 2008, having previously served in leadership positions in the company for more than 20 years. Peggy is the 5th generation of Davis family leading M. Davis & Sons, who are now in their 151st year in business. Peggy works to distinguish the construction company in the marketplace through an unwavering commitment to safety and quality, and through a forward-thinking approach to sustainability and the future of construction. In 2009 Peggy made the decision to pursue the certification as a Woman-Owned Business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) to set her company apart from other contractors. Peggy promotes diversity by participating in a wide variety of roles in support of WBENC, most recently she has taken on the role as 1st Vice Chair for Women’s Enterprise Forum for WBENC. She has been recognized on the regional and national level as a leader in the women-owned business community.

Christy is a bold technical leader navigating the first decade of her career in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Prior to joining Merck, Christy worked in male-dominated chemical manufacturing sites, where diversity was not highly present or valued. Since joining the pharmaceutical industry, Christy has found her stride in an environment rich in diversity and mission. She drives results with a focus on integrity and collaboration. She is committed to building and developing teams diverse in experience and knowledge as these are the teams that most often achieve excellence.

Christy strives to develop future women leaders in manufacturing through mentoring and coaching opportunities. She has also served as a community softball coach to be an example of a successful woman in a STEM field to the next generations. Christy’s most recent adventure is balancing motherhood of a 9-month old daughter while pursuing a challenging and rewarding career. She hopes to be an example of fearlessness, commitment and passion to her daughter in all that she does.
