Unlocking the Power of Prediction: See Your Systems in a New Light

This exclusive event will explore how Digital Twins are revolutionizing our industry. Join Denny Woolley, Senior Process Engineer at Genesis AEC, and Pam Docherty, Enterprise Account Executive at Siemens, as they delve into the transformative potential with real world implementations of Production Digital Twins.

Together, they will tackle critical questions such as:

  • A process design concept has been proposed…OK: How do we put it together?
  • How can we proactively identify potential issues in systems before they impact production?
  • What strategies are essential to fine-tune systems for peak efficiency and reduced energy consumption?
  • How can we test "what-if" scenarios without risking downtime or resources?

Denny and Pam will share practical insights and real-world examples of how Digital Twins empower you to create a virtual replica of your physical assets, enabling design, in-depth analysis and prediction.

This engaging session will provide you with fresh perspectives and actionable strategies to optimize your systems for maximum performance.

Join us for an insightful discussion. Connect with peers and industry experts while exploring the future of process systems’ management.

Pam Docherty - Enterprise Account Executive, Siemens Industry, Inc.

Mrs. Docherty has over twenty-five years of experience in batch automation, with over twenty of them focusing on pharmaceutical production. Pam earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and subsequently achieved a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University. She began her career at Siemens Energy and Automation where she worked five years as a batch product specialist. She then worked five years at Merck & Co in West Point, PA as an Automation Engineer supporting their Biologics Pilot Plant. Her responsibilities included automation from media buffer prep to bioreactor operation. After Merck she joined Honeywell where she provided Manufacturing Execution System (MES) technical demonstrations for the sales team. Her responsibilities continued through project implementation where she served as technical lead to ensure smooth transitions from sales through project implementation. Mrs. Docherty returned to Siemens Industry as the Life Sciences Industry Manager in 2013 and was promoted to an Enterprise Account Executive in 2024. Pam applies her pharmaceutical knowledge to implement Siemens innovative and digital solutions throughout the life sciences community. Pam is involved in the ISPE community where actively participates in the Biotech Community of Practice.

Denny Wooley - Senior Process Engineer, Genesis AEC

Denny Woolley brings over 35 years of various industry experience, supporting BioPharm projects from simple Pilot Plant Operations to major Grass-Roots construction efforts; having journeyed to most states, Europe and South America. His early experience in chemical equipment design, material management and heat transfer /pasteurization processes, is now applied to similar process engineering principles supporting Life Science applications.

With over 25 years of specific Life Science detailed design, installation, start-up and operational experience, particularly in Clean-in-Place and Purified Utilities projects, Denny can provide Subject Matter Expertise in these areas, including WFI, Purified Steam, Process Gases – all plant generated raw material feeds to Biotech process. His early pasteurization experience provides a skill set well suited for treating waste discharge in both batch and continuous Biowaste Systems. As a senior level plant support engineer during the pandemic, Denny has practical experience collaborating with the various Quality and Regulatory functions, having been responsible for engineering input to Deviations, including Root Cause Analysis, with the corresponding Corrective Actions (CAPAs) and Effectiveness Checks. Denny is able to lift the team to “connect-the-dots”, to ensure that meaningful and practical solutions achieve the necessary goals for quality operations.
